It's an Art/Musical drama. I only watched this movie coz of Johnny Depp and he lived upto my expectations...It's a musical movie... the dialogues are rhythmic and you'll find the actors singing throughout the movie. The movie is dark and bloody. The actors have done a great job especially Depp (i feel he deserved the academy award). The makeup artist has also done well. Story is firm along with good direction but the movie may seem lame to some people.
It's a story about a barber Sweeney Todd who is in a quest to free his daughter from a city judge and failing once ... he turns evil ... killing people all around the town. The ending may seem good to some ... gauche to some
