A great work by Francis Ford Coppola on the novel by Mario Puzo. The best part of the movie is the super tight direction and awesome acting by Marlon Brando and Al Pacino alongwith all others characters too. The background music is exactly what any mafia movie can expect to have. The portrayal of Italian life blended into American life is well managed. The viewer sees himself as the centre of every scene and every shot gets stored in the heart piece by piece.
