Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa [2008]

This sequel is a bit better in story developing through the course of time and some action events are much better than those in the first movie. The conquest of Alex for proving himself and then finding a way to reunite with family is accurately picturised. The comic part is also left to the subsidiary cast which again, have proved themselves worthy. Overall, a better movie to watch.

Madagascar [2005]

A ‘could have been’ good movie with slightly loose plot and direction. The characters were a bit less funny then I thought they would be. But whatever I am saying is from the point of view of my adult age because children do like this movie. Maybe I have seen lots of animal stories before so I find this movie normal. The side roles contribute much to the story rather than the main characters.

Cars [2006]

A very good attempt to bring cars as personalized creatures in the animation world. The movie is well balanced in every field that an animation movie can be thought of depending on. The glory of a car racer is embed in the the film who is blinded by its no.1 status in racing. The characters are thoroughly developed and the racing stunts give the feeling of real car racing in the field. Overall, a very good movie to watch.

The Lion King 1(1/2): Hakuna Matata [2004]

Even though it was a third part, it wasn’t really a third part. The concept was to see the movie through Timon and Pumba’s point of view which was a fresh beginning for the whole series. The movie is good due to the non-stop special chatting of Timon and Pumba and some new scenes and events that added and refreshed thememory of the viewer. Overall, a good attempt to keep The Lion King spirit alive.
