Schindler's List [1993]

It is a masterpiece depicting the true story of a Nazi -supported German businessman who, instead of going against the Jews, saved many Jews during holocaust in the second world war in Poland. The movie is about the efforts of OSKAR SCHINDLER who labored thousands of Jews in his factory so that they can be saved from being deported to the concentration camps set up by anti-Semitic NAZI party.

STEVEN SPIELBERG has pictured the holocaust so real that anybody can imagine the extent of brutality of Nazi's on the Jews. Even though the movie is black and white, the direction along with storyline treatment is superb and the work of Liam Nesson as Oskar Schindler supported by Ben Kingsley as his assistant is mind blowing. The movie is a precious gift to the world cinema and seven academy awards, including that of best picture, proves it.
