The Silence Of The Lambs [1991]

Today,the meaning of horror is just a ghost in some dark night or a soul of someone murdered without no cause. But "The silence of the lambs" depicts the real meaning of horror that can grab you anytime in your life.This movie is suspense story about the skinning of innocent girls by a psychopath and his trail by FBI. Clarice stalling is in the training period of FBI service but she is called to investigate the case and is made to talk with a CANNIBAL psychiatrist Hannibal lecter in the jail. He gets impressed by her and gives some hints about the killer.

The movie is well directed and the acting part is really very strong which confirmed 5 Oscars including academy award for best picture. The concept of using a psycho to catch another psycho is appreciable. some of its scenes are really brutal and horror. But, in today's cine world, these type of movies are common and it will not be a big deal to watch this movie alone the room in the midnight. however, a fresh feeling about the psycho killers can be experienced still today after having watched this movie.
