A good piece of work by Jack Nicholson but personally I only like those corridor sequences with the kid riding his bicycle and looking at those images in the room. The movie is definitely a good treat for loners who roam in the areas of seclusion from cities like those in hill stations or deserts. The direction and the acting is the soul of the movie along with the editing which makes it a good horror experience.
